Product Introduction
Alumina balls (Al₂O₃ ceramic balls) are widely used in various industrial fields due to their high hardness, wear resistance, high temperature resistance, corrosion resistance, chemical stability, and insulation properties. They can be divided into the following categories based on their applications:
1. Grinding media (the most mainstream application)
High purity (92%/95%/99%), high density, and dense alumina balls are the core media for ultrafine grinding:
- Lithium battery materials: ultrafine grinding of positive and negative electrode materials such as ternary, lithium iron phosphate, and graphite
- Non-metallic minerals: processing of powders such as quartz sand, kaolin, calcium carbonate, and feldspar
- Electronics/Semiconductors: Ceramic capacitors, silicon powder, grinding and polishing of electronic paste
- Ceramics/Building Materials: Ceramic body, glaze, cement, and color glaze grinding
- Chemical industry/coatings: grinding of pigments, inks, coatings, pesticides, and food additives
- Pharmaceuticals: Pharmaceutical excipients, fine grinding of active pharmaceutical ingredients (sanitary grade)
II. Chemical catalysis and packing
- Catalyst carrier (active/porous type): petrochemical industry, fertilizer, coal chemical industry, automobile exhaust purification, supporting platinum, palladium and other catalysts
- Tower support/inert packing: In distillation towers, absorption towers, and reactors, it supports catalysts, optimizes gas-liquid distribution, and prevents channeling
- Gas/liquid purification: gas drying, defluorination, arsenic removal, adsorption of heavy metals in industrial wastewater
III. Fire resistance and thermal insulation
- Hollow alumina ball: lightweight, high temperature resistant (1700℃+), low thermal conductivity, used for lining of metallurgical/glass/ceramic kilns, thermal insulation castable, insulating brick
- High-temperature furnace filling/regeneration: Regeneration and insulation of high-temperature kilns, hot blast stoves, and reforming furnaces
IV. Electronic and Thermal Insulation
- Thermal conductive filler: spherical alumina-filled silica gel, epoxy resin, used for heat dissipation of LEDs, chips, and power devices, enhancing thermal conductivity
- Insulating materials: copper-clad laminate, circuit board, electronic insulator, high insulation, low dielectric loss
V. Other special purposes
- Wear-resistant components: bearing balls, valves, pump bodies, pipeline linings, wear-resistant lining plates
- Chromatographic stationary phase: laboratory/industrial chromatographic separation
- 3D printing: printing of high-temperature resistant and complex components in aerospace and medical fields
